Together At Last
Hey you guys! I’ve been living on cloud 9 for a few days now. I finally met up with him!!!
Let me first tell you that when I first saw him again, the butterflies were definitely back. We talked and joked a bit, it was extremely nice, casual, simple, easy, and just all around sweet. It flowed with a lot of ease and we ended up having lunch together that same day.
Ok, here comes the freaky part: it turns out we have VERY similar backgrounds and interests. Went to the same schools, picked the same classes, share similar values and opinions about things, same passions, and the timeline of our lives has some funny coincidences (if you can even still call it that at this point).
We had great chemistry throughout the whole conversation (which lasted almost 2 hours). And while you’d think I left with a super excited feeling, I surprisingly left with an extremely peaceful and calm mind. I was also very confident that this was only the beginning, and I just felt sooo at peace. Can’t really explain it, and this feeling came quite unexpected. I would have assumed I’d be feeling hyper instead, but nope! Contentment and peace it was.
My heart still skips a beat when we look at each other in the eyes, it’s like I could literally get lost in them and die lol So strange! It seems to be likewise for him.
I did not mention any of the coincidences to him yet. I might in a more distant future, but not now. It’s still the early stages, and it’s flowing perfectly without synchronicities being mentioned. I did, however, find out that his last relationship apparently broke off around the time my coincidences started on my side, which is pretty damn freaky. Past relationships will probably be discussed further later on, so sooner or later, I will have the exact timeline of it all figured out. It’s just so strange.
Well, when I started writing this blog a year ago, I refused to get into the whole soulmate subject. But I must admit that I’m slowly starting to think I have indeed found my soulmate. And this sounds corny, but my heart feels like it has come home, and that’s the best way I can describe this feeling. It’s all so weird, I’m gonna need a while to digest it all so I can write a more objective post about this later on.
I just got a message from him on my phone, and it sounds like he’s going to ask me out some time next week or so 
PS: my gut feeling about the e-mail turned out to be a life saver. While talking to him, a collegue interrupted us for a second to tell him that they had just found out that their professional e-mails hadn’t worked properly for the past month and so messages weren’t coming through. He shrugged and joked it didn’t matter, since he never checks his anyway. Hah! I’m so glad I did not go the e-mail route.
Well done you!!! Thank you for updating. I think you were very brave to make contact bearing in mind you had no idea what the response was going to be…..well what a great outcome. I am soo pleased it has turned out the way you had hoped.
I wonder if I could ask you something, you mention about your pasts being similar etc. Did you not get to know him very well when you first dated? I ask because you don’t say much about him in previous posts (not that I can find) so was just wondering if you would share a little bit on the background to how you very first met.
I think you’re right to take it easy before mentioning the synchronicity, any time I discuss it with anyone they look at me like stark raving mad (not that I mind so much..makes a nice change from having been so ‘normal’ all my life ha ha!)
Only those people who have experienced it can really fully understand the impact it can have on your perception of reality and spirituality etc and I think the whole thing can freak some people out (never mind those of us it’s happening to being at times totally freaked out!!!!!)
The aftermath of my ‘new’ boyfriend and I breaking up has passed without any drama’s like the past experience. I have had no synchronicity relating to him at all but alas still having them over my Mr sync. They still seem to be mostly negative or at least that is my perception of them. Although your situation has clearly had a positive outcome so far I was wondering if on your travels of reading up on the subject if you came across any negativity related to synchronicity. I did once on a spiritual site but very little on examples etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
When all this started I was very suspicious and paranoid over weird verbatim stuff that was said to me and tended to distance myself from those people or situations that it happened with, however a positive thing did happen the other day when twice in the same day a unusual comment that meant something to me was said by two different people to me at work, they are both good religious people and I for the first time felt quite oddly comforted by it. I do sometimes feel that a good greater power than us may be at work here and pray a lot just in case I’m right lol.
Best of luck to you with your Mr Sync, and I hope you are right about him being your soul mate because that’s exactly what I felt about my Mr sync, so maybe there can be a happy ending for me too sometime in the future and all this will have been for a greater purpose.

Hi A! Thanks a lot for your post! We never actually dated before, and although we used to interact on a daily basis, conversations were mainly technical and on a somewhat professional level. I can’t go into too many details here. In any case, this is the very first time that we actually share personal details about ourselves and our past; it was really fun and interesting!
About you: it’s very strange. I have never come across any synchronicity story being negative. Are you sure it is all that negative? Several months ago, I started looking at my situation this way: perhaps we only experience those things because there is a purpose, a lesson to be learned down the road. Maybe there’s unfinished business with this guy that you need to sort out somehow. Not necessarily to be with him as a love partner, but maybe there are just conflicts that need to be addressed and solved with him? I don’t think anybody can really give you the exact answer to that, as you’re the one in the situation. What is your intuition about it all?
You’re experiencing those synchronicities; and although I’d be tempted to say that we’re all in the same boat, I’m starting to realize that we really aren’t. We all have our own story, our own quests, and our own questions to solve. So really, we’re each in our own boat trying to figure out which way to row lol
I guess the coincidences are like traffic signs we see on our way there, and we’ll keep seeing them until we reach our destination, or until we’ve deviated far enough from the right road to where we can’t see them anymore.

Sounds like this guy could be your Twin Soul..as we have many soulmate connections, but only one twin soul! Ariadne Green has written a book on this subject called Divine Complements. You can also google her and contact her..I’m sure she would be interested in your story and add clarification (not that you need it).
